MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
merp, sorry I wish posted this sooner but I spent my whole Christmas on the road driving back home from Michigan!! ://
I wanted to make a post on Thanksgiving but then I got busy...(clearly my time management/procrastinating skills are just HGUREDFIHNUJ).
but what I learned this Thanksgiving is that THANKSGIVING IS TRULY THE BEGINNING OF THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR. Everyone says Christmas is because it's the season of giving and I mean everything about Christmas is soo hollyy and jolly and :DDDDDDDDD
But on Thanksgiving, I realized how lucky and privileged I am, and I felt more of the need to give back.
Sooo ever since Thanksgiving, I've been giving back to the people in need and loved ones! :)
The biggest lesson I learned this year is that there is always someone who is dealing with some kind of struggle going on in their life, and although my life isn't perfect either, it feels good knowing that I made someone's life a little more at ease. :))
For my family's gift, I took them all out to see the Rockettes back in November!
My mom took James and I many years ago, but this was our first time as a family! And we want to make it a family tradition to go every year :))

DUDE THIS VEGAN HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE WAS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD.
I accidentally read the recipe wrong because i thought it said cacao butter and powder, but they actually wanted COCOA butter and powder. It required a lot of sugar and LOVEE, and I gifted a bar to lan laoshi for Christmas!

...i know..my family thinks i'm insane because it kinda sounds weird to gift someone a tree..
BUT FOR BUYING A TREE, WE GAVE FARMERS WORKING WAGES AND BETTER AIR AND FOOD SECURITY. IT'S A WIN WIN FOR EVERYONE! AND YOU GET TO WATCH THE PROCESS OF YOUR TREE BABY GROW!! :)) hehe ya it's so cool and i convinced my parents to get me a tree for christmas too :DD bwahaha

Lol sometimes I feel bad when I'm being overly loud cuz it sorta seems like im bragging or like forcing it on sometimes, but at the same time I'm proud of what I did this year and I hope others follow too. It's pretty fun spending money on things that will make others happy hehehehehe

I love prepping for Santa. Matthew and patrick got too old for it, so I was so happy that I got to do it again with Ava.
hehe, so uncle sammy went around the house and found tons of extra electronics and stuff he doesn't want and he was going to wrap in wrapping paper. AND I WAS LIKE NUH UNHH. WRAP OUR PRESENTS IN ALL THE BROWN PACKAGING PAPER YOU HAVE. and so he did :) BWAHAHAH :)
also, my aunt keri also got me tons of fair trade and vegan productsss for Christmas. I love that my family are respecting my new lifestyle and values. IT'S MAKING EVERYONE LIVE MORE SUSTAINABLY :DD HEHE YAYYY! :))
