spooky stories and bonfire

Heyy...so this post actually happened on October....25th..... hehehhe sorryy. XD but Jackie and Lauren begged me to the floor to post this...plus it will be helpful to anyone going to China anytime soon. :)
So, on the night of October 25th, Jackie and Lauren and my neighbors came over to my house for a bonfire. Fall wouldn't be fall without a bonfire. XD  Halloween was approaching soon, so it's only appropriate to share spooky stories while roasting marshmallows and potatoes.

Harry's turn to tell his story full of shenanigans. hehe XD

we be scared of jumping vampires

POTATOES ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIREEE

There's supposed to be a voice recording of my neighbor telling a story of a jumping vampire...but it wouldn't upload. SO...I'll summarize the story.

So there was this guy[err lets call him Peter] that was walking home from work. As he was walking he saw this guy[lets call him Andrew] sucking blood from a dog. Andrew saw Peter and started chasing him. Peter ran to a bridge and never saw Andrew again. The next day, Peter told people around town what happened last night. But the thing is, Peter knew that Andrew died years ago and knew where he was buried. So, he went to the coffin and opened it. Basically, everything in the coffin decomposed--except him.  Because he's been in that coffin for years, his bones are stiff so he can only hop. In China, the bridges have steps to get to the bridge and Peter couldn't hop over the steps. soo...u are safest on a bridge.
SO IF YOU SEE A HOPPING MAN IN CHINA, IT COULD POTENTIALLY BE A VAMPIRE. SOOO HURRY AND GET ON A BRIDGE.

Phishing

Last Monday, we had school off because of Columbus day. Woot woot! ;) Soo, my family and my neighbor, Noah, decided to go fishing. Apparently, there's a lot more fishes under the bridge of the canal, so we fished there. The dudes next to us caught like 20 fish..while we caught about 5 fish. How embarrassing...hahaha. There was a huge ramp that held the bridge together behind us,and my brother, James, Noah, and I decided to climb it. It was soo steep, and I almost fell multiple times(probably because I didn't have proper footwear). We eventually made it to the top, it was a lot harder than it looks...I swear. James and Noah continued to climb the ramp and slide down it. I ditched them to go fishing. I caught two fish, but they were too small to keep. :( James and Noah slid down the ramp probably a billion times, that there were holes in their pants. Literally, they were screaming their lungs out and stuck their butt out, and of course everything echoed under the bridge, so the fisherman's looked at them and their underwear. Lesson learned: Not to take James and Noah anywhere out in public. -__-  Yeah, then we were in the car alone while my parents were at the supermarket, and we were singing to "Shake it Off" and James and Noah twerked with their butt hole pants. Then, there was a 30 year old guy that was coming back from the market that parked right across form us, and he was wearing a black skull shirt with eyeliner and we were freaking out. We hid behind the seats, hugging each other saying, "no matter what, i love you guys." HAHHAHAHA

haha..Noah's butt..before it got destroyed

just ignore mah butt.... -__-

WE MADE IT TO DA TOP!!!  ya we should have done the water view, but the lighting was terrible and you couldn't see anything. XD

Cape Codddd

Wow......we posted like nothing over the summer...
Nothing exciting  really happened in the summer for me. I just chilled around like a potato. :) But the highlight of my summer was probably my vacation to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I've been waiting the whole summer to go because I had an amazing time last year. It was supposed to be a 4 1/2 hour ride, but there was soo much traffic; it ended up being a 6 hour ride. -___- I felt soo fat during the car ride because we sat in the car for hours and my parents were too lazy to stop for lunch. So they forced us to eat chips, cookies, and dip to keep us full. I never thought my parents would make us eat junk food. Ever. ayy not complaining. XD
we packed soo much...majority is food and beach stuff...but you can't really see it.
The next day (Sunday), we enjoyed our lovely view of the water in our backyard. Since the house provided us with boats, we obviously had  to ride on them. :) My brother and my mom went on the paddle boat, while my dad and I went on the kayak. We went kinda far and decided to go to the canal. Since it is a canal, and all the water from the ocean is coming in, the current is much stronger. It was easy for us to go in because we were going with the current. But exiting the canal was nearly impossible because we are going against it. Apparently, the paddleboat was already broken and going against the current didn not help at all. Kayaks are stronger and idk built better? so they can get across if you paddle with enough strength. I tried to do it, and I got across!! YAYY!!  My dad could have done it too, but he stayed with mah bro and mom. My parents sent me back home to bring them an extra paddle, rope, and food. I did as I was told..except I may have forgotten the most important survival tool..the paddle HEHE WHOOPS. Eh...well they didn't really need it cuz my parents climbing up rocks to ask fishermans to get the boat across the rocks, and  out of the canal. All my hard work to come back was for nothing. -__- Then we realized that it was low tide, and they could have walked the boat across. woww!! soo smartt!!!! They did walk the boat back home instead; it was much faster that way. As they were walking, they noticed tons of mussels that bordered the lake. TONSSSS OF THEM!! That's what we had for lunch...and dinner mostly everyday. I don't like mussels..buttt uhhhh they give u muscles right? ;
our view from  the windoowww
its soo pertyyy
GRACE TO DA RESCUE :)

attempting to get across...but failing
^^^loook at those mussels...
my mom and bro harvesting mussels and my leg XD

lunchh
On Monday, my cousin and my uncle joined us. We decided to go biking cuz its fun and they are athletic... so why not? We went to a bike trail called Nickerson Bike Trail. My cousin and my uncle bike fast and I was able to catch up with them. However, my family were kinda behind...mainly from my brother though. He kept complaining that his legs hurt and he rode really slow. We were already half way done with the trail until my family decided to head back. My uncle, cousin, and I wanted to continue, so we did. We made it to the end of the trail!!! Just to make it to the end of the trail, was 24 miles. 24 miles to bike back. yayy! I literally felt like I was going to faint because I was soo dehydrated. My parents had my water....like how smarttt. Luckily, my family stopped at this ice cream parlor and waited for us there. My mom bought me ice cream. Just saying.NEVER get the ice cream called Moose Droppings. It doesn't even sound appealing, but I ordered it anyways. hehe. It's vanilla with brown chunks of poop. All I know is that it's not chocolate. Yeah....so I biked 48 miles just that day. My legs were soo soreee afterwards..Fun fact: I biked 84 miles in total on my vacation.

:) For 3 nights straight, we watched a movie called Bourne. Its an action packed series with tons of killing and stuff.  and this guy had amnesia and he basically has to find out who he is while all these people are chasing him and he doesn't know why. It's a  pretty epic movie..although there is tons of murdering and stuff....and i screamed and flinched like every 5 seconds...butt errr ya but other then that.. totally recommend :)  oh yaaa and mah cousins and aunt and uncle also arrived that night.
taking a pic while biking cuz im cool like that
movie night and salsa!! yerrmmm!!
On Tuesday, we went on a 2 hour ferry to Nantucket. It's a little island full of tiny shops and beaches.  It's literally soo beautiful there and the it reminded me a lot of the 80's and 90's. All the shops were soo cute and I guess Nantucket is known for their whales? idk. But all the stores sold soo many whales stuff and I got obsessed with them. Sadly, I didn't buy any whale merchandise because everything there is soo expensive.  XDD I WANT A PET WHALLEEEE!!People in Nantucket are extremely rich!! Most of the streets are made out of really big rocks and people drive around with Ferraris. Some people even own 2! 2! like that cray cray.  We mainly went to Nantucket for the beaches. There are soo many beaches...afterall, it is surrounded by the ocean. The water was soo blue and clean and warm. We walked so far into the ocean, and the water was still up to our ankles. I love those types of beaches XD There were tons of shells and rocks all over da place so we had to pick some....(ahem) 20 billionnn. We spent soo much time at the beach, we didn't notice the time. The ferry to go back to Cape Cod was departing in 15 minutes (4:00) and it's a long walk to get there. Just imagine 10 people running with beach stuff and bags in the busy streets screaming "LET'S GOOO!! RUN FASTER!!" yaa we probably made a fool of ourselves -__- and it was all for nothing. We got there exactly at 4 and there was a huge line and we asked them if they were on line for the ferry. They said yesh. Until we realized, they were on line for a different ferry. LIKE FMLLLL. WE COULD HAVE MADE IT!! The next ferry was at 8 and we would get back at 10. It wasn't that big of a deal, we didn't have to rush and we could walk around and go into the stores. hehe sorry...I didn't take pics of the stores...which I really should have. -__- But I got to see more whales. :) I REALLYY WANT ONEE MAHNNN! It was finally time to get on the ferry! When it got really dark, my mom, uncle, and I decided to go on the upper deck of the ferry where it's like extremely cold. There were soo many stars!!! We brought a blanket and a towel for us to sit on the ground and just look at them. Then, my mom created this contest thing of who can count the most stars. BUT BABY, I BEEN, I BEEN PLAYIN' HARD.SAID NO MORE COUNTING DOLLARS. YEAH, WE'LL BE COUNTING STARS!...sorry I had to do it...hehehe. My mom counted something in 300's and I got 200 sumting. yeah..she probably won...but there were probably 11234567890 stars there. XDD
LOOK AT ALL THOSE BOATS! Some of them cost millions of dollars. AND they hire people to clean their boats. WHADDAPOOP
idk i thought that boat was cool
this is literally how i spent my 2 hours on the ferry...everytime a boat passes by

Beach Bums

On Julb 9th, I went to the beach with Nicole and uhhh ya. It was really winndyyy and cold, and not a perfect day on the beach. But we made the best out of it, and it was soo much fun.  Clumsy as I was, I walked on the edge of the sidewalk and tripped over grass and scraped my knee. Hehehe...whoops. We jumped in the water a lot though, and we got soaked....well mostly me ... -__- Nicole found this rock that was really smooth and white with beige spots, and Nicole told me to hold it. hehe...and I accidently threw it in the ocean...... "that rock represents our friendship"-Nicole
hehehehhehe yeah im sorryy nicoleeee...
just saying..Nicole is a terrible super hero because instead of saving people, she poses in front of a beach with a nemo towel
shellfies
hahaha get it? cuz there are shells at da beach....and we taking selfies hahahahhaa

im bare feet..or is it bare foot?

It may look like a perfect day for a beach.but it wasn't,
it was realllyyy windy

its a board that u can walk on
that's why they call it a board walk durrr

On Saturday, Julb 12th, I went to the beach with Jackie and Lauren. We basically did nothing there, but I insisted to build a sandman...ya know? like a snowman..made out of sand..hahahhaha  After we walked around in the sand, we walked on the boardwalk and found my dad fishing on the other side of da beach. While we were walking, I saw this dude with his girlfriend or friend thats a girl taking a selfie with the most "beautiful" face in the world. He was walking towards us, so Jackie and I  took selfies when he passed by doing  the exact face that he did. He saw us (I mean how can we not when we were laughing and dying). But he smiled at us and gave us a thumbs up and the girl said "nice selfie." hahaha..
hehe beautiful faces

NYC

NYC Cupcake Tour (Union Square-Original Magnolia Bakery): June 7th
So, my friend's birthday party was a cupcake tour around NYC. Basically, we walked through Manhattan going to the most popular/unique cupcake/dessert places. But it wasn't a private event since it was an actual tour hosted by like NY tour host things... So I went with my mom and friend, and her aunt and mom. The temperature this day was really high, but we adjusted quickly considering we were out all day.
I finally found Pusheen's book I Am Pusheen the Cat by Claire Belton! We're all big fans on Pusheen on this blog ;D
The colorful back
I really should have bought this sketch book considering it was on clearance for about $9 at this Barnes and Nobles, and that my sketchbook now is practically falling apart after three years of bad care.
Just saying, this book looks good and sounds good, so I want to read it.
Back to the actual cupcake tour, first stop: your generic CRUMBS. And their classic humongous cupcakes of course.  I think they have three sizes: tiny, medium, and duh, those big ones ^
So, this is Amorino Gelato. It originated in Italy, or France, I can't remember, but the owners made a store in America. A.K.A., here in NYC. The only one in this country!
Selfie at the bomb gelato place
Oh look it, we're in France. (Jk)
Aweggies bubble lady
A gif of it
Cool Building
Don't mind the girl's butt here.... but this is Molly's Cupcakes. (I tried my first carrot cake cupcake here. It was DURRLICOUS.)
Beautimous
This isn't a cupcake place, like the gelato place, but they have really good cookies as you can probably tell from the sign. We sampled these really big sugar cookies with sea salt.
Side view of the original Magnolia's Bakery in NY. We got red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese kind of frosting. Unfortunately for me, I'm not a big fan of red velvet or cream cheese. At least I ate one less cupcake, a.k.a, the slightest bit of unfatttyness.
A cool party store we found on the way to my friend's grandpa's restaurant.
Their window.
One without people.  I'm assuming the name of this store is Curious...
Some of the merchandise.
Back to Molly's Cupcakes. They had a really cool swing bar. It reminds me of the swing bar that I saw in the Cancun, Mexico resorts.
Our mini cupcakes at Crumbs.
Family Friend's Baby Shower: June 22nd
A family friend is pregnant, so she had a baby shower! It's a Boy! But, it was later in the day, so my friends and I walked around NYC. We had cupcakes at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop on 30 Prince St, next to Mott Street. (I think we can all agree that I'm a big fan of cupcakes.) Post eating, we wandered to stores and stuff. We stopped by the Brandy Melville on 44 Prince St because the one of 40 Broadway (I'm not sure if this is the correct address, but it was across from Old Navy, and a bunch of other clothing stores. But, I don't think it really matters anymore because it's gone...) just had to move there :| . Then H&M, where I got a striped black and white shirt, and a plain burgundy dress, etc. etc.
Our outfits for the baby shower/day, although we discovered that it was an "extremely casual" event later on. We took off the cardigans eventually because it was really hot this day.
Inside the Little Cupcake Bakeshop on 40 Prince Street
Mine and my friend's cupcakes. (I got a carrot cupcake whilst she got red velvet.)
More of the inside
After leaving the extremely confusing and rather large Hollister
Marzipan at a grocery store (I forget the name, but it's one of those fancy grocery stores that are scattered around NYC. Particularly Brooklyn I think...

A little blurry, but maripan zoo animals. Minus the whale maybe...
OOO MACARONS! Oh, and other desserts ;D
Lots of bread
Fresh fruits and vegetables
The chocolate section!
Fresh fruits
Exiting the ride-like Hollister (I say ride-like because it's like entering an epic, crowded ride)
Here's the infamous thing
Taxi taxi!
SELFIE!
Yay I got a NYC bike picture (even though it sucks because I was rush-walking)
Still worse, but we saw like a toy from toy story or something like that on top of it. (but somebody had to touch it)
Cool motorcycle
Fancy restaurant
Almost to the baby shower
Feeet
Some sort of marathon
More people
Vintage style buildings
THEY'RE AWESOME
REALLY COOL
The streets
An old church building that was turned into a club, then currently, a clothing store.
Fancy buildings erry'where
Kate Spade desk materials!
I wanted this but it cost $20 :(
I still prefer the pens
A lot of people who occasionally cheered really loudly for the World Cup. (At the baby Shower)
