NYC

NYC Cupcake Tour (Union Square-Original Magnolia Bakery): June 7th
So, my friend's birthday party was a cupcake tour around NYC. Basically, we walked through Manhattan going to the most popular/unique cupcake/dessert places. But it wasn't a private event since it was an actual tour hosted by like NY tour host things... So I went with my mom and friend, and her aunt and mom. The temperature this day was really high, but we adjusted quickly considering we were out all day.
I finally found Pusheen's book I Am Pusheen the Cat by Claire Belton! We're all big fans on Pusheen on this blog ;D
The colorful back
I really should have bought this sketch book considering it was on clearance for about $9 at this Barnes and Nobles, and that my sketchbook now is practically falling apart after three years of bad care.
Just saying, this book looks good and sounds good, so I want to read it.
Back to the actual cupcake tour, first stop: your generic CRUMBS. And their classic humongous cupcakes of course.  I think they have three sizes: tiny, medium, and duh, those big ones ^
So, this is Amorino Gelato. It originated in Italy, or France, I can't remember, but the owners made a store in America. A.K.A., here in NYC. The only one in this country!

Oh look it, we're in France. (Jk)

Cool Building
Don't mind the girl's butt here.... but this is Molly's Cupcakes. (I tried my first carrot cake cupcake here. It was DURRLICOUS.)
Beautimous
This isn't a cupcake place, like the gelato place, but they have really good cookies as you can probably tell from the sign. We sampled these really big sugar cookies with sea salt.
Side view of the original Magnolia's Bakery in NY. We got red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese kind of frosting. Unfortunately for me, I'm not a big fan of red velvet or cream cheese. At least I ate one less cupcake, a.k.a, the slightest bit of unfatttyness.
A cool party store we found on the way to my friend's grandpa's restaurant.
Their window.
One without people.  I'm assuming the name of this store is Curious...
Some of the merchandise.
Back to Molly's Cupcakes. They had a really cool swing bar. It reminds me of the swing bar that I saw in the Cancun, Mexico resorts.
Our mini cupcakes at Crumbs.
Family Friend's Baby Shower: June 22nd
A family friend is pregnant, so she had a baby shower! It's a Boy! But, it was later in the day, so my friends and I walked around NYC. We had cupcakes at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop on 30 Prince St, next to Mott Street. (I think we can all agree that I'm a big fan of cupcakes.) Post eating, we wandered to stores and stuff. We stopped by the Brandy Melville on 44 Prince St because the one of 40 Broadway (I'm not sure if this is the correct address, but it was across from Old Navy, and a bunch of other clothing stores. But, I don't think it really matters anymore because it's gone...) just had to move there :| . Then H&M, where I got a striped black and white shirt, and a plain burgundy dress, etc. etc.
Our outfits for the baby shower/day, although we discovered that it was an "extremely casual" event later on. We took off the cardigans eventually because it was really hot this day.

Mine and my friend's cupcakes. (I got a carrot cupcake whilst she got red velvet.)

After leaving the extremely confusing and rather large Hollister
Marzipan at a grocery store (I forget the name, but it's one of those fancy grocery stores that are scattered around NYC. Particularly Brooklyn I think...

A little blurry, but maripan zoo animals. Minus the whale maybe...
OOO MACARONS! Oh, and other desserts ;D
Lots of bread
Fresh fruits and vegetables
The chocolate section!
Fresh fruits
Exiting the ride-like Hollister (I say ride-like because it's like entering an epic, crowded ride)
Here's the infamous thing
Taxi taxi!
SELFIE!
Yay I got a NYC bike picture (even though it sucks because I was rush-walking)
Still worse, but we saw like a toy from toy story or something like that on top of it. (but somebody had to touch it)
Cool motorcycle
Fancy restaurant
Almost to the baby shower
