Sooo last Friday, January 26th, Jackie, Luke, and I went to the Asian Dance!!.and twas french themed..hence the reason why i started this post in French. lologlrfk
Jackie had one extra ticket because Jackie and I had a little miscommunication on who was buying the tickets. :/ whoopsies. and right before we walked into the cafeteria, Jackie sold her ticket to this dudee who didn't buy a ticket yet for $10 instead of $12 and he was like hmmmm..this sounds kinda sketchyy..but okay xD. lolol heyy, we highschoolers would do anything to save dem monies ya knoww. gotta save up for college cuz it's expensive and makes me wanna cryyy.
alsooo, at one point during the dance, this dude had some sick moves, so jackie and i decided to join him by circling around him and doing the weirdest moves everr. But uh....we scared him away. he literally just left us walking in circles alone and walked somewhere else to dance/hang around. AHAH WE WERE DYING. OMG I CAN'T. AHAHHA

so Uncle Harry drove us all to the dance and right as i got into the car, they were like..it smells like a really good fancy grilled fish in here..and i'm like WHAT? NOOOO1!! :( because i had a grilled fish for dinner :( and then i told my mom and she was like WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU ALWAYS SPRAY PERFUME BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE! :( but luckilyy, luke had this fancy shmancy cologne...so i probably smelled like a manly fish french lady. BWAHAH
lifestyle tip for you all: bring perfume with you at all times because you never know when you might smell like pooopp...or in my case, fishXD lolol your welcome.
so all four years of going to the Asian dance, we always had our own outfit theme:
freshman year was sweatshirts -_-
sophomore year was cat onesiesss
junior year wasn't really an outfit theme..but we just ran around playing tag with boots and...lost him temporarily...lol
and this year...well i'm a french girl and jackie is a cat. buttt, coincindentallyyy, our outfit match the colors of the french flag!! :OOO

aha this remindds me ever since middle school, jackie, nicole and I have been wanting to go to Paris together, and we created our art business, lucky savings fund/ gnj, to save up money to go together one day. :P

AHAH, i was watching Gilmore Girls last night, and the main character, Lorelai is going to Paris so she was learning a few phrases from a CD. and the CD taught different phrases in french and then translated it in english with a heavy french accent.
and then Lorelai was like, "this CD is so helpful. I really sound like a french person now." and she imitated the guy speaking english with the french accent and was like, "you don't need to know french, you just need to sound like you are French. "AHAHHA.
It's probably more funny if you watched it. LOLOL

There were these two tables lined up parallel from each other with lights hanging from it and it looked really romantic and prettyyy(although, i don't think that was really their intention when they decorated the cafeteria lol). So, we asked Luke to take a picture, AND IT'S BLURRY AS POOP.

Then Luke made us take a picture of him under it to prove that it's our camera making the pictures blurry, not him...but uhhh Lukeeeeee, my picture seems pretty clear to meeeee. lol

I mentioned earlier in the blog about how we scared the dude away by running around in circles around him. we actually did it mostly to Luke and Joshy and Ryan and I'm pretty sure we looked really weird and stupid, but dancing with Jackie makes it so fun and hard to think of what everyone thinks of us. :)
lol we were playingg tag with Luke, Jacob, Ryan, Joshy, and a few other people, until one of the teachers came and told Jacob to stop running. LOLOL:(
my feet were soo sore from running around in heels, but it was soo worth it. LOL
ahaha..i love how we yelled at luke for taking blurry pictures, but mine are blurrier.
In my defenseee, i was video taping and taking pictures at the same time so i couldn't tell if they were in focus or not. XD LOLOL

also, Lydia wore a beret tooo and she looked soo cute!!! but we didn't get a picture togehter and now i'm sad. :( lol

they were playing "Teach Me How to Duggy" and Jackie and I didn't know how to..so we were like okay let's watch them. Except everyone was just crowding together in a circle and did weird dance moves and went on peoples back..so we still don't know how to Duggy.

the Asian dance is always soo much fun and I'm so sad that this was our last asian dance of our high school career. :(
THE NEXT DAYYY
so late in the afternoon on Saturday, Jackie, our moms, Luke's dad, and I all went on a trip to Lincoln Center in New York to see a Chinese contemporary music show. XD

These performers are like the best of the best in China and they flew all the way here to show us their amazingg talennnttt. :)
It was really cool to hear the different types of Chinese instruments and see how they expressed the culture through music. XD

After the performance, we walked around Lincoln center and took pictures with Jeff Shu Shu's fancy cameraaa and my mom's iphone(which is where these pictures are from lol)
there was a cute little path of trees with lights and it looked really aesthetic and instagram worthy, but the lighting was baddd and the camera didn't do its justice to capture the beauty of the cute pathway of tree butt we look cute either way, so it's all good. hehe

On sunday, we just hung out at the mall and went shoppingg and then came back to my house for din dinsss. :))

okay, so while we are on the topic of tofu, tofu got spayed a few weeks ago and she needs to wear a cone to prevent her from licking the stitches. and she hates the cone, so to make her feel better(lol it's more like to make us feel better), we let tofu sleep upstairs with us. She usually sleeps on her own bed, but when i'm not home, she likes to sleep on my bed. and yeah, my bed is a mat on the floor now in my mom's room..idk why. i was somehow convinced by James. lol
aww look at that baby!! i never want these 2 weeks to end because i dont want her to go back downstairs to her crate. :( lol
Okayy back to the Sunday dinner that i was actually meant to talk about.
my mommy madee that grilled fish that i ate on friday before the asian dance...so we probably all smelled like fish. lol

Tofu was sad that my cousins and jackie had to leave, so she went and said goodbwi to them!!
tofu is also saying goodbwi to y'all because it's the end of the blog.
Tofu, Jackie, and I had a fun time spending time with each other over the weekend and i wish every weekend was like that. hehee
