^^lol I hope you read that in the tune to the Little Einstein theme song, even though...the washington dc was a bit off the tune...hehe shhhhhh you get the idea ;) 

On Friday, the first day of Spring break, my family(INCLUDING TOFU:]) all went on a roadtrip to see the Japanese cherry blossoms in Washington D.C. 

wow...I didn't even realize what a horrible picture this is till now, but this was all tofu baby's stuff that I packed. We packed tons of treats, food/water bowl, baby wipes, poopy bags, 3 bottles of filtered water from our sink, and her bed. 

I know, we treat her like an actual baby. LOL

Before we left for our grand adventure, we had to go to the recreation center to drop off our doggy license so that tofu baby can live with usss. lollolol

Tofu usually does very well in cars and enjoys looking out the window, but for some reason she was really scared and her heart was beating super fast...maybe because she isn't used to being in my dad's car..? Well....after my mom stroking her like a little babbbyyyyy, she was able to sleep and then she was all fine and happyy again. :))

SOO HAPPYY BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T GONE ON A ROADTRIP IN SOO LONGG AND WE GET TO SPEND IT WITH TOFUUUUU

Also, during our roadtrip, we jammed out to the 80's and 90's music because it's soo muchh better than our generation of music lol

and My dad 's playlist had the song "Cat's and Cradle" in it  and  James and I were just jamming out and dancing along because if you watch the Office, there was one scene where Dwight and Andy were singing it.

CHIGGEN NUGGETSS!!

my parents were soo against us going to McDonald's :(

but James and I convinced( as in nagged them for an hour) to let us have McDonald's for lunch.

BEHOLDDD, MY NEW FAVORITE PICTURE OF TOFUU :)

We took a pit stop in Maryland for my dad to rest up and for tofu to walk for a bit. And Tofu met so many dogs at the rest area, which is probably why she is soo happy in this picture. hehehehe 

ALSOO, tofu is shedding like crazyy.. the car was full of her hair. 

So during the ride, I colleced  tofu's hair from the seat or loose hairs from her body and threw it out the window to every state we drove passed. It's kind of like tofu left her signature to let people know that she was thereee. LOLOL It probably landed on someone's car though, so noww tofu's hair is on another adventureeeeeeee

The roadtrip was supposed to be a 5 hour trip, but with traffic and rest stopsss, it was more of a 7 hour trip lol. Nonetheless, we got to the hotel, rested up, swam at the pool for a bit, and then walked around to find dinner. :D

Oh btw, we actually stayed in Virginia, but we were about 10 minutes away from Washington D.C. 

Luckily, where we stayed was in downtown Virginia, so there were many restaurants for us to choose from. :) Since we had Tofu with us, we had to order takeout so this was me waiting outside while the fammm ordered the foodz.

and while i was waiting, there was a teenage boy who took a step of fresh air from the restaurant and started talking to me...twas awkward. But we basically talked about his extravagant roadtrip he's on with his family and apparently we're both in the same grade, but he's from Georgia and has a southern accent. He also ranted to me how NJ is stupid because the gas stations aren't self services.    -__- 

My mom, dad, and I ordered food at a thai restuaranttt.

aha, Alyssa from our mandarin class was talking about how yummyy thai food is and looking at these pics makes me want some moreeee. lol

and James ordered Buffalo Wild Wings 

and tofu had her doggy kibble

ALSO SHOUT OUT TO WESTIN FOR BEING A PET-FRIENDLY HOTEL. :) 

ahah tofu is soo smartt. tofu was being naughty and ripping the fabric on her bed. So i gave her a towel and a pillow to sleep on. and i woke up to tofu's head sleeping on the pillow LIKE AN ACTUAL BABY. <3333

DAY TWO

(or is it Day 1?..because it's our first full day here)...I feel like I should really know this kind of thing.gkfjigdcv....ehh i think it makes sense if i count it as day two...

soo DAY TWOOOOOOOO ahah i feel stupid

So originally, we were supposed to go grab some food, then go to Washington D.C. first thing in the morning. But my mom's eyes were really puffy and irritated for the past week, but it progressively gotten worse each day to the point that it hurt to even blink. So, we ended up  taking my mom to urgent care which ended up taking about 3 hours. Ironic, because my mom was waiting on lineee in urgent care for like 2 hours. -__-

Anyways, my mom had a chemical reaction to something but she's healing now so it's all gooodd. 

Tofu enjoyed sun bathing while she was waiting though. :)

While we were waiting for my mom, we went to Whole Foods to get lunch for the picnic we were going to have in D.C.

So we got to D.C. at 3:00 and it was PACKED and it took my dad 30 minutes to find parking. :( so this was us waiting for my dad to find us loll

So after the picnic, we walked over to see the Cherry Blossoms!! :) 

Soo this woman and her husband saw us with tofu and she asked to take a picture with me and tofu. LOL. then an asian couple saw this lady ask, so then that couple asked for a picture too with tofu. MY GOODNESSS, TOFU IS LIKE A CELEBRITYYY...except the picture says otherwise because tofu is kissing this lady LOL

TOFU IS LIKEE....IT SMELSSSS LIKE JAPANNNNNNNNNNN!!

so as we were walking. i saw all these easter eggs and goodies hidden in the trees, and i thought that the park put the easter hunt together, so i took one of the eggs. But thennn, there were these groups of adults who were staring at me and then i saw a Target receipt right by my foot...and  i was like...oh waittt....this is probably theirs..*puts it back, cries, and walks away* lol 

HEHE I CAN'T WAIT TILL SUNDAY, WHERE JACKIE AND I WILL BE EASTER BUNNIES AND DELIVER EGGS TO ANYONE WHO MISSED THE CHANCE TO CELEBRATE EASTERRRR *cough cough meeeeee* Lolol 

alsoo, guysss i am in love with the outfit i paired for this vacation. My pink shirt and my headband match the color of the cherry blossoms. And my jacket has flowers that look like cherry blossoms. and my headband have bunnies on them which was perfect for the easter weekend. I'm also wearing my new banana shoes which i'm obsessed with cuz they're soo cute and comfortable. and i know....i thought so much into my outfit, but I think it looked really cute. and WOWOW LOOK AT ME. I'M SO FASHIONABLE. WHOOOOO :DDD 

soo throughout this whole trip, 37 people actually came up to us and told us how beautiful and cute tofu is. And 60 something people smiled or told their family or friends to look at tofu because she's soo CUTE. TOFU, YOU GOT PEOPLE TURNING HEADS AT YOUUU. lol

I was actually shocked by some of the responses we got from people that stopped by to say hi to tofu. Some told us that they have a shiba. One even said that they have a mixed shiba, but they think that tofu is way cuter. HAHAH. Many also knew about shibas or were curious about them. And some had utterly no idea what a shiba was, until i mentioned that she's a doge. And some of the kids were just screaming miless awayyy, OMG IT'S A DOGEEEE!! 

haha, every time my mom heard people calling tofu a doge, she seemed a little offended. She was like why is everyone calling her a doge. she's not a dogeee, she's a tofuuu. HAHAH my mom is soo cuteee.

lol for y'all who didn't know, I did a countdown for jackie's 15th birthday, and each day i photoshopped a picture of jackie and used it as my profile pic. HAHAHAH

a lot of little toddlers also came running to tofu too and the parents had to chase them down lol.

but all they wanted to do was pet tofu, and they were like "ooohhh softtttt" LOLOL

I was worried that the cherry blossoms didn't bloom yet because of all of this ridiculous cold weather and snowww, but we actually came at the perfect time, because it was really warm outside and a lot of the flowers are starting to bloom. Also, next weekend is going to be snowing AGAIN -_-, so i'm reallyy happy that we got to see the cherry blossoms right on time. :)))

We left the monument around 8:00 and the minute we went inside the car, tofu fell asleep.

She met a Chinese breed called a chow chow(it kinda looks like a lion lol). 

Tofu and the chow chow were running around and playing with each other,  it was soo cute!!

but the chow chow got tired and drank tofu's water and ate her snacks. LOLOL

and tofu was like I'M READY TO PLAYYY!! and the chow chow was panting and was like waittt. i need to catch........my.......................breathhhhhhh. LOLOL

My dad and James were playing badminton, and tofu made me run back and forth to chase the birdy. LOLL. Who needs gym when I got tofu to keep me fit? LOLOL

there were so many cute asians that took such professional pictures with the flowers.

and there was a couple who had their wedding pictures taken there as well(it was so cute. i'm doing that for my wedding lol).

VOILAAA!! I DID IT! :DDDD  Tofu doesn't look necessarily happy about it, but she sorta..? is looking at the camera. AND I GOT THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS. AHH that made my day. 

I wanted one with tofu because she's japanese and she's seeing the japanese cherry blossoms..and well i may as well be japanese. Jackie and I are watching a japanese drama called "Good Morning Call" (Go watch it) and i'm picking up some wordss...like kumen and haiiiiiii. XD

I also had sushi and a sushi pizza with jackie and paige yee yee a few hours ago. :P Wowwweee look how Japanese I am. HAHAHA

Anywayss, we had such a fun time in Washington D.C. and hopefully we'll go back there next year. and hopefully, tofu will let me take a selfie with her. lol
