CHECKING OFF OUR BUCKET LIST IN NEW YORK!

HEY HEYY!!

Today is the first day of school for jackie and tomorrow is my first day of school :( Actually, i got a bit excited for school before...but that lasted like 5 seconds. HAHA

This summer has been weird..we haven't blogged about anything all summer (except about drugged tea soap LOL), and that's because we've both been busy with life-changinggg job opportunitiesss. WE'RE GROWING UP!! :(( Jackie got this supah cool and impressive internship at Bank of America where she designed the layout of websites and went to meetings and dressed all professionally XDD.

And I got a job at an assisted living facility called Sunrise where I care for elderlies (aka wipe butts)!! lol, even though my job is a bit gross, i love it and it's giving me insight and experience of what it's like to be a nurse. :) 

I KNOWWW, WE'RE GROWNNN ADULT WOMEN PURSUING OUR CAREERS AND CONQUERING THE WORLD!! 

but.....

we're also still baby teenager penguin adults that still love glitter, stickers, chubby things, travelling, moviestarplanet, and 

TAYLOR SWIFTT.

...ahah was that a  smooth transition to what this post is actually about....? HAHAH 

^^but yeah, FACTS. Just because we're growing up and doing adulty things doesn't mean we lost our kid self. XD 

BASICALLYY, Good Morning America announced that they are hosting Taylor Swift to do a FREE concert at Central Park. So jackie and i got super excited!! BUT THEN, they said that you need tickets and that we have to lookout for a tweet from good morning america on how to get tickets. SO FOR A MONTH, JACKIE AND I TURNED ON THE NOTIFICATIONS FOR GMA FOR THESE TICKETS! AND GMA TWEETS LIKE EVERY 2 SECONDS!!! 

and GMA tweeted some article about taylor and all the swifites got so mad. the tweets are soo relatable!! AHAH

Thursday, August 22nd

LONG STORY SHORT, we didn't get tickets :( BUT WE WOKE UP AT 5AM TO GO SEE HER ANYWAYS. HAHAHHGROIDFJGI 

Jackie slept over the night before...and we basically talked ALL NIGHTT HAHAH so we were dead in the morning..

DEDICATED SWIFITIES!!

although, not as dedicated as some other swifties...they camped at central park the night before and taylor swift's dad and her management went and gave them pizza and snacks. :OO

LOL, we got to Central Park at 7, thinking that even though we won't get seats, that we can hear her or maybe get a slight view. BUT THE STADIUM PLACE WAS ON A HILL AND SURROUNDED BY TREES...so there was no chance of even getting to see her. :(..but i guess we already expected that lol. 

We didn't even need the GPS once we got closer to the stage because we just followed the screaming swifties lol

Also, the swifties started singing lyrics and screaming randomly out of nowhere, and jackie and I had no idea what was going on lol. But once I got back home, I watched the Good Morning America episode, and saw why the swifities were screaming. That's so cool that WE WERE LITERALLY RIGHT THERE, EXPERIENCING THE LOUD CRAZY SWIFITIES LIVEEE!!...except we had no idea what was going on...lolgorjgiodf

LOL THOSE SECURITY GUARDS IN THE BACKGROUNDS ARE BIGG BUTTS AND THEY PROABABLY HATED USSS!! lol

Basically, before the concert even started, we saw so many people walk out, so jackie asked if we can get in since there's more room available inside. 

and the security guards said no and basically implied that the only way to get in is if the people who walked out allowed us to have their bracelet.

OKAY, a little intermission on the blog..sorta

So, as we were walking in the busy streets of NY, Jackie told me this funny story of when she and Ethan, Andrew, and her siblings went to NY together. Basically, by the time they got to the crosswalk, the sign changed to stop but like the true and impatient New Yorker Ethan is, he was like "don't worry, follow me" and put his hand out to all the cars and walked across the street and everyone just followed him LOLOL

and I was dyingg when jackiee told me this storyyy LOLOLL

this Beatle's picture is exactly how I imagined it. LOL

just imagine that there are tons of cars on the streets in the pic and the white suit dude is ethan having his hand out the cards and walking all sassily and jackie, harry, lauren, and andrew following Ethan like his little ducklings. XDDD LOLOLOL DO YOU SEE ITTT. ALSO THE "ETHAN" IN THIS PIC LOOKS LIKE HE'S WALKING SASSYY AND I DEFINITELY IMAGINED HIM WALKING SASSY WHEN JACKIE TOLD ME THIS STORY. LOLOL (sorry ethan if you ever read this..i probably got the wrong picture of you LOL...but not really cuz i can so imagine you doing this AHFUIHFSDJ)

and yeah, because of this, I found this hilariousss and I always thought of the story when I saw or heard the word "Stop" which you'll see in the next few pics. LOLLL

We were mainly too scared to ask, but when we did, we got turned down. :( BUT 3 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOW WAS ABOUT TO START, we were like AHH LET'S JUST DO IT! and so i chased one woman down and she shrugged and was like sure!! SO JACKIE AND I WERE SO HYPED!! And even though, we got one, WE RANN TO THE SECURITY GUARDS IN THE LANE THAT WAS BLOCKED AND THE SECURITY GUARD PUT THEIR HAND OUT LIKE STOP (LOLOLOL)  GET OUT OF THE LANE! NO NO NO NO NO! YOU CAN'T COME IN! and jackie and i were so confused like excuse me?!?! and so i asked why we can't go in, and he was like because you took the bracelet from someone else. BRUHH YOU TOLD US TOOOOO!! *angry face*

then, an english lady started talking to us and we offered her our bracelet in case she was able to get in...so of course i had to take a picture of the bracelet for memoriesss lolol. But she ended up not doing it :( lol

We were probably one of the few people there that were dancing and singing along to taylor LOL. These people took "You Need To Calm Down" too seriously lol

ALSO GUYS I'M SO MAD!! Taylor performed at the VMAS at the PRUDENTIAL CENTERR and there was a website where you can get free tickets to go, so I entered and they said I was waitlisted so I didn't think I would have a chance. BUT ON THE DAY OF THE VMAS, I CHECKED MY EMAIL, AND IT SAID I GOT THE TICKETS SO NOW I'M MAD THAT WE LOST OUR OPPORTUNITY TO SEE TAYLOR AND SO MANY COOL ARTISTS FOR FREEE!! :(

there were a lot of people who left a few minutes before taylor came on and while she was performing and we were just like WHADDAPOOP MAN. DO YOU KNOW HOW BADLY WE WANT TO BE IN YOUR SHOES AND BE ABLE TO SEE TAYLOR PERFORM?!?! lol

..but i guess life happens sometimes and forces you to leave these once in a lifetime events :(

After the concert, we were starvingggg so we walked to a bakery that we've been wanting to go to together for so long called Bibble & Sip. It's literally been on our bucket list for like 2 years and apparently Ashleigh's family's friend's....brother or something like that is the owner of the bakery which is supah cool!

hehe totoro macarons! Ashleigh was on the plane flying back from china on this day. XD

haha, we have expensive taste! there was no price where the pastries were, so jackie and i just chose the pastry that appealed to us the most. When we sat down and saw the menu on the side of the wall, we realized that we got the most expensive ones! LOL, they were really good and yumma and sweet though. :P

hehe and we got a jasmine matcha latte to share. I was shocked when I saw they did the latte art. :O

Our main agenda (other than seeing taylor) was to go to this super trendyy and cool mall called Showfields with yima and patrick. But since we got to soho before the mall opened, we walked around to other stores that were opened, one of them being the store Kith.

After walking around the Kith store, we went across the street to a cute cafe that was actually connected to Showfield's and we just chilled there until yima and patrick arrived. XD

TECHNOLOGY IS GETTING TOO ADVANCED! They have keyless keyboards and mouses now!! You use these finger glove things and tap a certain amount of times to type a specific letter. There was even a video of someone biking and tapping on the handle like morse code to text something. THIS IS THE FUTURE :O

SOOO, i have this app that gives you "money" based on how many steps you walked in a day. And you can use the "money" you earned to buy prizes that I guess the app partners up with. and one of the prizes is this keyless keyboard/mouse!! It's like $60000 lol and i don't even know why I have this app because I barely ever use it but that I thought it was cool that I saw it on the app lol

In each room, there's a different product that a company is advertising and they're all products that aren't sold in commercial stores, but they're all high quality and innovative products. And if you're interested in any of the products, there's a store at the end where you can buy them. XD

we also met Ms. Showfields!! she's so young and cool and smartttt. Actually, i feel like everyone who works there are really unique and express their personality by the clothes they wear, how they talk, how they do things. They're all really enthusiastic about their job and excited to talk about the products they're trying to sell too. XD

Then after Showfield's, we were planning to go to Chinatown for lunch, and as we were walking, we saw a group of people holding Bar Pa Tea bubble teas. Jackie and I had that place on our New York bucket lists for years so WE HAD TO GO! lol

After walking around, and debating where to eat for like 30 minutes, we ended up at this super yummy korean restaurant :PP  oh mannn, i want korean food right nowww. AND BUBBLE TEAAA. I just video chatted jackie and we were talking about bubble tea and now I REALLY WANT BUBBLE TEAAA AHHHHHH! AND I CAN'T EVEN MAKE MY OWN BUBBLE TEA BECAUSE JAMES USED UP ALL THE MILK. UGHHHHH. THE STRUGGLEEEE MANNNN :(

Wow, i was about to say i'm home sick..and realized I am home. BUT JACKIE IS ALSO MY HOME. SO I AM HOME SICK. :( And in dire needd of bubble teaaaaa :(

Since we ate soo muchhh at the restaurant, we decided to walk to the World Trade Center and walk around there in the nice air conditioning XDD

We stayed in the apple store for a long time playing with the apple pencil, which I bought for myself for school XD 

And we played with the new phone that Jackie was going to get. Oh yeah, I never shared Jackie's story about her phoneee lolll

Basically, before Jackie came to my house for the sleepover, she went to the beach with her church and she ran to the ocean but the tide was bigger than expected and the wave knocked her phone out of her pocket and it got washed awayy!! :( They couldn't find ittttt :(( And all of her credit cards and driver license was in there!! :(( And soooo when that happened, Jackie chatted me through Joshie's phone and I thought it was a prankkk LOLOLOLGJDIOJGID. So yeah, because jackie dropped her phone in the ocean, she got upgraded to an EVENN BETTER PHONEE WITH SUPER NICE CAMERA QUALITIES and i'm jellyy ):) what's that emoji when you're happy and sad? idk but that's the one I was trying to make there ):)

hehe candid pic XD idk what we were talking about here but on our way back home, jackie had to pee and we literally talked about peeing for half of the bus ride but we assumed that no one was listening because they were either sleeping or listening to music. But as it was getting closer to our stop, i asked jackie a question on when should i ask the guy to stop AND THE DUDE IN FRONT OF US ANSWERED MY QUESTION...so now i'm really wondering if he heard the whole peeee convo LOLOL

Ya and after walking around, that concluded our day in new york! We were pretty productive in checking things off our bucket list: See Taylor, Showfield's, Bibble and Sip, Bar Pa Tea and there's still so much we want to do in NYC and I'm excited to go back there with Jackie. :)) hehehe

Also, on our way back home, we were talking about some of our old memories and we couldn't fully remember them, so we went back on the blog to read them. It was so refreshing and funny to go back and remember those days together! One of them was about dropping the swank crew off at the airport and accidentally dropping gummy bear vitamins on the floor. Once we read it together, we were laughing/crying as hard as the first time we experienced it. At first, we were like eh maybe we were just in that teenager phase and thought that was really funny....but WE STILL FIND IT FUNNNNYYY LOLOL. LOL. It's funny how we find the most stupidest things to be like the funniest thing on earth LOL. LIKE WHO LAUGHS ABOUT DROPPING GUMMY BEARS Anyways, I'm just happy and grateful that we started this blog to refresh our memory and to relive those moments together. :))

Are my conclusions always so sappyyy? lol idk..but blogging and seeing all these cute pics make me miss jackie :( <3 lol AND WE LITERALLY JUST FACETIMED EACH OTHER LOLOLOLSIJGL

Everyone should have a blog...it's good to look back on and i would totes mah goats read it :))) hehehehehee
