Modeling for Koi Sushi and Hibachi!!

NIHAOOO!! :))
Wow, it's been awhile since we made a post with both of us in it because of STOOPPIDDD SCHOOLLL. lololol.  I'm so glad we're on summer break now...sorta....jackie and i are still pretty busy with career related stuff. =3= lol

But whenever I'm with Jackie and Lauren, like on May 11th, we always have soo much funnn!! :)
LOLOL, SOOO on May 11th, we went to Tom's River to celebrate the open house of the restaurant, Koi Hibachi and Kitchen!!
basically, we were there to attract customers and greet them at the open house and we had to wear traditional Japanese/Chinese dresses.
Alsooo, the owner's wife is a hair stylist that did all of our hair which was pretty coolll XDD
Right when we walked outside of the restaurant to greet people, everyone was like WOAHHHH!! and immediately wanted to take pictures of us. We literally had a row of papparazziiii LOLOLOL
LOLOL this is literally how we looked during the whole open house!! We were supposed to scatter and socialize with other people, but we're toooo introvertiveeee and always stuck together. WE ARE LITERALLY ONEEE. WHEREVER ONE OF US GOES, WE ALLL GOOO. =3=
:( I'm wearing heels and I'm still not even the same height as jackie or lauren. :((
hehe the owner of the Koi hibachi and kitchen chain restaurant XD
This open house was the most fanciest and entertaining open house I've ever been to. They were serving samples of sushi, egg rolls, had super fancy glass soda bottles (which i saved to hold my plants hehe), and 2 Chinese roast pork. They also had face painting, sand art, and clearly from the picture, lion dance.
Ribbon Cutting
lol, i kinda find it funny that basically every event or group photo that they had, we were asked to be in the photo....likeee we barely contributed to the opening of the restaurant LOL

LOL, for the ribbon cutting, i had to walk in front of the ribbon and give the scissor to each person on the line, and for some reason while i was doing this, i felt like that girl from Wheel of Fortune that follow the highlighted tile letter. LOLOL.
these lion dancers were SOOO GOODDD. they're actually professional lion dancers.
I forgot if theyre Mongolian or Malaysian :\\ but they get extra points for mastering the chinese lion dance. XD
a photo with the owner's family :)
lol, this is kinda funny: so the owner's wife posted this picture on facebook and some dude commented on the photo and was like where's me? i was in this photo! and the owner's wife was like....i don't have any photos of you in it as of right now
and i guess this dude desperately wanted the pic badly cuz the owner's wife had to ask people if they had the pic. AND MY MOM HAD IT. LOLOL. AND IT'S A PRETTY GOODD PIC TOO. LOLOL. yeah i just found this so funny. lol

LOL SWAGGY ROAST PORK
LOL, i'm pretty sure we're in half of these photographer's photos
man this is sorta awkward...because we didn't really know what to do when someone asked us to join this picture. LOLOLLL
While we were getting ready for the open house, it took us forever to figure out how to tie jackie and lauren's ribbon around the waist culturally accurate. BUT IT LOOKED PRETTY GOOD IF YOU SAW THE BACK.
there's a lot of things that require a lot of effort and brain power that people don't tend to realize. Even for opening up a restaurant, there was a lot of planning that had to be done in order to make it into a reality, and people tend to forget that. hehe, i learned that from a kdrama LOLL. wow, this is all started from jackie and lauren's kimonos LOLOLLL

with da mommies!! <3
this picture happened because a parent wanted a picture with us and her kid and she offered to take a group/family photo.
But, a lot of parents actually asked to take pictures with us, and we were all kind of surprised at the end of how many people asked for a photo lol.
Also, sui yee yee asked us a week before this event, and she basically described us as a modeling job as a joke.
After so many people wanting pics of us, we kinda did feel like models and it was pretty fun LOL
also, i think that this is really cool that the whole gallery that they have is the waiting room and this backdrop behind us is a photobooth and is meant for people to take selfies behind it. XD
wow, we're all almost the same height as this tower XD
da feellsss!! i went to osaka castle a few years ago hehehee :]

Something that I really admire about this restaurant is that they keep the history and art of the culture in here. When you first walk in, they have the terra cotta soldiers, and in the waiting room, there's like a little gallery of traditional clothes, pictures, artwork of Chinese and Japanese culture, along with descriptions of each piece of art.
This is a bit off topic-ish, but I'm taking a summer nursing class right now and today we learned about culture competence. I didn't realize how in the nursing field, you really need to understand other people's cultural or religious beliefs in order to treat the patient without offending him/her.
Anyways, i don't think my family and i are strict cultural/religious followers, but it made me appreciate the people who do strictly follow it. I think, especially now in this generation, it's so important to preserve and respect ours and other people's culture.
Sooo yeahh, i really like how this restaurant is kinda showcasing both Chinese and Japanese culture.

After the open house, the owners were soo niceeee to treat us lunch at their restaurant!!
POOOFF! WOW I MAGICALLY CHANGED TO A NEW DRESS. :OO
guys, those glass windows with the bark and plants behind us was designed and created by the owner's wife. IT'S SO CUTE. and the menu pictures and picture frames around the restaurant are all from the husband. I love how they personalize their restaurant and like i said before, it's evident that a lot of hard work went into making/decorating this restaurant.

Also they're family is the sweetest!! They were so grateful for helping them with the open house that they treated us for lunch, and paid us more than what they originally said they were going to pay us!! <33

I got a poke bowl. Jackie got sushi rolls and Lauren got takoyaki which all looked pretty good.
MAN I WANT THIS SO BADLY NOWW
HEHEE MAN I HAD SOO FUNNN WITH JACKIE AND LAUREN AND OUR MOMMIES!! <3
IF YOU'RE EVER BY TOM'S RIVER, Y'ALL SHOULD GO TO KOI HIBACHI AND KITCHEN!! IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT :)
They're planning to come to old bridge, so it'll be even closer to us!! OOH THERE'S ALSO ONE IN HAZLET, AND I JUST FOUND OUT ITS LIKE A 6 MINUTE DRIVE FROM BROOKDALE :OOOOO
man, i'm hungry nowzzzz :OOOO
om nom nomz.
bwi bwi, gonna go eat some foodz before i become a zombiee and eat all of yousssssss. OwO :OOOO
